Jeff Holt’s Builder Party + Results from LB Ultimate Builder

The J&P Cycles Ultimate Builder Custom Bike Show kicked off at the Jeff Holt Builder Reception at the Bikernet.com HQ on Friday night. Bikernet, the largest online custom bike magazine, opened their doors to the industry and treated guests to tours and killer tacos.

The industry party included builders, manufacturers and dealers in the Powersports Industry.

2017 Ultimate Builder Long Beach Results

It’s always a surprise at the kick off of the J&P Cycles Ultimate Builder series in SOCAL because of the diversity of the builders at the Long Beach show. And this year it was even more so. Builders came from as far as Dallas, TX to show off their creation.

Multiple ground up builds, Triumphs, Indians, Softails, DYNAS, Baggers were all under the spot light and  were competing at the friendly confines at the Long Beach Convention Center.

IMS Tour Will Showcase Custom Motorcycle Building

2017 Ultimate Builder Custom Bike Show Kickoff

The Progressive® International Motorcycle Shows® (IMS), an industry leader on connecting powersports brands with highly qualified enthusiasts and buyers, today announced the return of the Ultimate Builder Custom Bike Show hosted by J&P Cycles produced by Jeff Najar of Biker Pros.

Gas Axe Chop Shop wins FreeStyle class and receives the AMD World Championship prize at Championship of the Americas during AIMExpo

Voted for by the custom bike show competitors, Tim Dixon of Gas Axe Chop Shop took the ‘W’ with a 1959 Panhead engined hand-crafted chopper called ‘Pennie Lane’. Custom designed, using a Model A front axle/reverse shock set-up with a Model A front spring for the rear swingarm, all the work was done in-house by Dixon and his talented crew with most of it on his manual machines.

Tim Dixon of Gas Axe Chop Shop in Ten Mile, Tennessee, and his bike Pennie Lane earned enough votes by fellow builders to take first-place honors and win  FreeStyle. Good times at the Cherokee Blue Ridge Run with Pat Jansen of Sin-Central Garage. Pat speaks bad about a PBR and chaos ensues.
