Good times at the Cherokee Blue Ridge Run with Pat Jansen of Sin-Central Garage. Pat speaks bad about a PBR and chaos ensues.
Pat was commissioned to build trophies for the Kustom Kulture Artisan Show at the Cherokee Blue Ridge Run. After a lot of JB Weld, I asked him why he used JB WELD instead of a bolt and he related a story back in college.
His JB Weld story is about a time back in college when his frat brothers played a prank on a fraternity brother by applying JB Weld to the doors of his new Audi. And not just a dab in the door; more like buckets. Well, the frat brother was sure it was an electrical germlin so out came the AAA flat bed. And to make a long story short, the sedan was never seen again.
So the reason why he went with the sticky stuff was a nod back to his carefree days in college.
