How and why did you get started building bikes?
I got started building bikes through painting. Out of high school I made money going to car shows and doing pinstriping on the spot. That quickly turned into doing airbrushing and full blown custom jobs. I decided I needed a canvas of my own and the only thing in my budget was a ratty old CB 750.
What is your biggest challenge in building a bike?
My biggest challenge when building a bike is finding the time to do it. Between working a 40+ hr job as a welder and school two or three nights a week it’s hard to put all the time and focus into a build like I would like to. Another thing I find difficult is waiting till a build is all the way, 100% complete, before trying to ride it.
