This past Saturday on October 25th at Alex’s Bar in Long Beach, CA Dumptruck co-hosted the Benefit for Chopper Dave of Chopper Daves Casting Co. He was joined with Jeff Holt of Hot Bike/Street Choppers Magazines.
“It was a great time where the term biker was defined by the support that the community so willingly offered in order to help relieve the pressure of medical bills and time off work for one of the custom motorcycle community’s brightest lights and talented fabricators,” said Dumptruck.
Chopper Dave recently survived a morning commute motorcycle accident not far from his shop sustaining multiple fractures requiring numerous surgeries. It was a fantastic turnout full of friendship, cold beer, and a killer set by “Revolution Mother”.
Over $7,000 was raised in the support efforts & 5 Ball Racing Leathers was proud to donate one of their Special Ops vests to the mix of “Killer Raffles & Giveaways” that were on the table. A big shout out to Jeff Holt, Denver Dan, Brawny Built, and Alex’s Tavern amongst countless others for putting this all together.

He worked at West Coast Choppers for four years and in October 2005 Dave started his own shop – Chopper Dave Casting Co. He specializes in sand cast aluminum parts and continue to build bikes with a preference for models from the pre WW2 era.
