4 Alarm Fire Ringing in Milwaukee
The fire engine red Firehouse Bobber is secured for the 2nd Annual AMD Invitational Custom Bike Show in Milwaukee. The bike won the Muskegon Bike Time Extreme Custom Bike Show and received the bid to enter into into the Milwaukee show.
Asked how the Firehouse Bobber idea came together, Jon Shipley, Owner of Hoosier Daddy Choppers said, “I wanted to use a fire extinguisher for the oil tank and that is where the Fire Bike idea originated from.”
What this bike was built for other than showcasing Hoosier Daddy Choppers’ work was as simple as can be ─ winning shows. So far the bike has proven itself with Bike of the Year at Easyriders in Columbus, first place in the over-1000cc class at the Rat’s Hole Show during the recent Daytona Bike Week and 1st Place in MOD Harley class at the Muskegon Bike Time Extreme Custom Bike Show.
The frame is a ’97 Harley Softail front clip with a custom rigid rear section. Jon put a 96” Twin Cam in an Evo frame.
