The surest way to be selected as one of the Pro Chop Off builder is to win the ride in Pro Show bike show at the Smoke Out.

If you are one of the three winners of the “Pro” class (in the ride in bike show) you automatically have a slot to be one of the Pro Chop Off builders the following year.

And in 2015 Jeremy Cupp and Bill Dodge won the Pro Ride In Show and then they decided to compete in SO17 Pro Chop Off along with Jeff Cochran.

Cochran has built hundreds of bikes. His award winning build started life as a derelict Shovelhead. He stripped it down, smoothed it out, dropped the seat and affixed a springer and open primary. Cochran topped it off with an arctic white paint job.
