Kyle Shorey of Shadetree Fabrications is taking his US Championship winning Speedmetal to compete in the 2nd Annual AMD Invitational Custom Bike Show.

Speedmetal took Indy by storm. Shorey’s FreeStyle class win earlier in the year at the US Championship of the Ultimate Builder Custom Bike Show in Indianapolis has brought in $12,500 in total winnings to date. If he takes the win in Milwaukee he will add another $15,000 in prizes for a total winning of over $27,000+ in cash and prizes.

Speedmetal began life as a customer’s Saxon Crown chopper. The wheels, engine, brakes and tranny were salvaged from the donor bike.

A key feature of the bike is the prototype springer, which has gone through extensive on-road testing and will be available to the public later this year.
