Class Structure
The competition provides 7 award winning classes:
- Freestyle – One-off, ground-up built custom bikes, on all or any chassis platforms or drivetrains. Must run and stop.
- Custom Big Twin – Must be based off a Harley Davidson Softail, Dyna or FXR frame. the neck may be cut to rake the frame. Hardtail sections and wide tire kits are allowed.
- Custom Sportster / V-Rod – Must be based off a Harley Davidson Sportster or V-Rod frame. The neck may be cut to rake the frame. Hardtail sections and wide tire/swingarm kits are allowed
- Custom Bagger – Must be based off a touring frame. The neck may be cut for the purpose of raking or stretching the frame. Drop seat tail sections and wide tire/swingarm kits are allowed.
- Custom Retro – Any modified bike with a manufactured pre-1984 engine.
- Ladies Custom – Any bike, any make owned and ridden by woman
- People’s Choice – The bike that receives the most votes from the attendees

The following are the awards for the Peter Fonda Love Ride Bike Show presented by Customization in America:
- Freestyle Class: one merchandise prize, tour of the Jay Leno garage for one person and a Peter Fonda signed winner certificate
- Custom Bagger Class: one merchandise prize, tour of the Jay Leno garage for one person and a Peter Fonda signed winner certificate
- Custom Big Twin Class: one merchandise prize, tour of the Jay Leno garage for one person and a Peter Fonda signed winner certificate
- Custom Sportster / V-Rod: one merchandise prize, tour of the Jay Leno garage for one person and a Peter Fonda signed winner certificate
- Custom Retro Class: one merchandise prize, tour of the Jay Leno garage for one person and a Peter Fonda signed winner certificate
- People’s Choice: trophy for 1st place, tour of the Jay Leno garage for one person and a Peter Fonda signed winner certificate
- Ladies Custom: trophy for 1st place, tour of the Jay Leno garage for one person and a Peter Fonda signed winner certificate
OFFICIAL JUDGING RULES
Judging will be conducted by ‘peer review’, topped up by a VIP panel. One voting form will be issued per builder on registration regardless of the number of bikes entered. Competitors cannot vote for their own bike(s).
Correctly completed judging forms must be received back at the Registration Desk by the stated deadline to be included in the voting process. The decision of the judges is final. In the event of a tie on points for any award, the entry having gained the most 1st place votes of the tied entries will be deemed the winner.
