AMD World Championship underway

The 11th annual AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building is now underway at this year’s INTERMOT expo at the Cologne exhibition center (Koelnmesse) in Germany.

OC Bikefest Custom Bike Show by CIA
If it is rock and roll on the main stage, roasted donuts at the ILLConduct stunting compound and slick customs at the Customization In America (CIA) Bike Show then it must be OC Bikefest.
And what a weekend for the fans of custom bikes as builders came to compete for $6,000 in prizes from Ridewright Wheels, Biker’s Choice, Nino 925, Chop Docs Choppers and Shadetree Fabrications. Local talent and builders from as far away as New York came to showcase their latest work.

People’s Choice Winner
The 3rd Annual Harley-Davidson Museum Invitational Custom Bike Pro Show was held in Milwaukee with over $2 million in custom sleds were on display. The event featured 5 former 1st place winners and 3 debut bikes.
Tom Hedrick’s 1987 H-D Heritage Softail is a crowd pleaser. The bike drips chrome and is covered in eye catching murals. And after the people voted he took home the People’s Choice Award. After the builders voted, he took 2nd place in the MOD Harley competition. [Read more…]

FR 1750 “FAT TRACKER”
The bike was built by Hal’s Harley Davidson in New Berlin, to pay homage to the dealerships racing history. Avid Dirt Track enthusiasts, Hal and Kirk traveled the Midwest watching races since the mid 70’s.
