Paul Binford of Binford Custom Cycles built a crazy street/dirt machine that is one of the tallest custom sleds that has been built. Why? Because it is designed for the street and the dirt. Radical BAGGER Winner of 2013 Hollister AMD Qualifier Custom Bike Show is Bike Werks CA Baggers.

The 2007 Road King was transformed by Bike Werks CA Baggers into the Radical Bagger winner. The mil is a 96 H-D mil with Stage 2 mods. Paint is from KDaddy Kustomz. It features 8” extended bags, 26” front billet wheels and a Razor Tour Pack.

The 2013 Hollister AMD Qualifier produced 47 custom sleds with three bikes coming down from Canada to make the show. Click here for the more details and photographs.

FreeStyle Winner – Sam Baldi of Profile Cycles

The custom bikes that rolled into the 2013 Hollister AMD Qualifier Custom Bike Show were greeted with balmy 77 degree weather. Enthusiasts were greeted with 47 sizzling hot sleds. Bikes ranged from Harleys, Triumphs to ground up customs.

Builders won over $7,000 in cash and prizes. Product awards were provided by Rocking K Leathers, Bell Helmets, D&D Exhaust, Avon Tires, Ridewright Wheels and HelmetLok.

Indian to Reveal 2014 Chief at Sturgis Rally

MEDINA, Minn. – The 2014 Indian Chief will make its grand entrance at the 73rd annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally with a public reveal party Aug. 3 at the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum.

The free 8 p.m. event centered on the unveiling of the 2014 Indian Chief will feature live music, celebrity appearances including Mike Wolfe of History’s “American Pickers” TV show, interviews with Indian Motorcycle team members, a multimedia tribute to Indian Motorcycle’s history and more.

Ton Up! Speed, Style and Cafe Racer Culture

Ton Up final logo Lucky number 13 for the annual “Motorcycles as Art” exhibition at the legendary Buffalo Chip during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally this summer is titled “Ton Up! – Speed, Style and Cafe Racer Culture,” focusing on the origins and continued popularity of the Café Racer movement worldwide.

Co-curators Michael Lichter (LichterPhoto.com) and Paul d’Orléans (theVintagent.com) have assembled a comprehensive display of 32 machines from 12 makes and 6 decades, plus never-published photography – from the original café racing scene in 1960s England to the present, paintings by Triumph ‘resident artist’ Conrad Leach, images from the Ace Café Collection, vintage leather ‘Rocker’ jackets from the Lewis Leathers archive, the “One-Show” 21-helmets display of custom painted helmets, painting by Andrea Chiaravalli and photography by Erick Runyon with other artists to be announced.
